Sunday Newspapers

The Papers Past archive has been put together over the years from large collections of original newspapers acquired from Libraries, Universities and Government Departments. The papers were saved on a daily basis throughout the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and the 1990's. These archive editions have maintained their condition as they have been kept flat and out of direct sunlight. The only downside to this was that the various institutions did not have the foresight to save the Sunday Newspapers ie on the one day a week when they were not open.
Being born on a Sunday myself it was not possible for the family to get my Birthdate Times Newspaper but they came up with the idea of going for the following day. Although it did not have the cover date it did contain all of the news and events of my date of birth - fantastic! So we recommend this idea to customers who order an unavailable Sunday edition, we also send a covering note which explains all about the Sunday Problem and why the following days paper is enclosed, for the customer to personalise and give to the recipient.
To order a Birthday Newspaper simply phone (01872) 261220 or go to http://www.paperspast.co.uk/ or http://www.birthdaytimesnewspapers.co.uk/ .
